Little buddy, big boy, Mister Mister, Charles…
I can’t believe that you are already over 2.5 years old. The time has gone by WAY too fast (and I hear it only gets faster).
Every day that goes by, you amaze me even more. From the moment you wake up in the morning asking me to make you breakfast, to your Bible story at night that always ends with you saying, “we get to read this one tomorrow, Daddy…” I don’t ever want these days to end. I never want you stop asking to go on walks. I never want the day to come that you stop saying, “Daddy, come play toys with me.”
I know it will come to an end, but for now I will cherish every one of those moments.
I am beyond grateful for the amazing human that God gave your mom and I.
I love you more than words can ever say. A love that you will understand one day, but until that day comes I pray every hug, kiss good night, “rollercoaster ride,” donut day, Target run, Hot Wheel track, and bike ride that you feel that unexplainable love.
You are a gift. One of the greatest gifts of all.
I love you, Charlie.
-Daddy
P.S. I currently have tears running down my face. No big deal. I just told your mom I was sneezing…
