Our "Baby" John

Baby John,

Although you are loosing the technical title of ‘Baby’ in our family (due to your NEW baby brother that’s due in a few months), you will always be our “Baby John.” And although you have managed to grow up way faster than I would like (seemingly changing by the second) you are still our Baby John. You still love to be held. You still love to snuggle. You still love to just chill.

You are so incredibly observant! For instance… you can tell the difference between dozens of people’s phones and if you see one, your first instinct isn’t to play with it, it’s to take it to the person it belongs to. You do the same thing with drinks too! We can have a house full of people and you know what drinks belong to each person and if you see one unattended, you make sure it makes it to that person.

We can see the gifts that God has placed inside of you. You are kind, attentive, and just naturally want to help people. It’s so amazing watching you, at less then two years old, already growing into these gifts.

All that to say, no matter what titles you may gain as you grow up and go through your life, your first title will always be our “Baby.”

You are a blessing and an absolute joy to have in our lives Baby John!
